Bodywork & Composite

Custom body kits, made not bought.

Facelift conversions, widebody arches and original kits — designed, moulded and fitted in-house so the fitment is engineered rather than hoped for.

Bodywork & Composite

A body kit is only as good as the panel gaps around it. We design and mould ours in-house, which means we control the shape, the fibre layup and the fitment from the first pull to the final bolt — instead of shimming a boxed kit until it roughly lines up.

That covers facelift conversions, widebody arches, splitters, skirts and diffusers, plus one-off fiberglass and composite panels for builds where nothing off the shelf exists. Carbon fibre detailing is finished to read as factory intent, not aftermarket bolt-on.

How it runs

Every job follows the same seven stages.

However large or small the scope, the sequence does not change — which is what keeps timelines realistic and quality consistent.

  1. Stage 01

    Discovery

We start with your goals for the vehicle, the budget, and what the build has to live with day to day.

  2. Stage 02

    Design

Concept and specification — what gets made, what gets sourced, and how it integrates with the car.

  3. Stage 03

    Fabrication

Moulding, composite work and metalwork produced in-house to the agreed design.

  4. Stage 04

    Paint

Preparation, colour and finish applied in a controlled environment.

  5. Stage 05

    Assembly

Bodywork, electrical, interior and trim brought together into one vehicle.

  6. Stage 06

    Testing

Fitment, function and finish checked before anything is signed off.

  7. Stage 07

    Delivery

Handover, walkthrough, and aftercare on everything we built.

FAQ

Custom Body Kits questions.

Both, but our own kits are designed and moulded in-house under the Smoke Customs Body Kits range. Because we control the mould, we control the fitment — which is the difference between a kit that lines up and one that needs packing out.

Yes. Fiberglass moulding and composite work are core services. We can take a shape from a sketch, a buck or an existing panel and produce a mould for a one-off or a small run.

Real composite. We do both woven and forged carbon parts, laid up and lacquered in-house. If you want the look at lower cost, a wrap is the honest alternative and we will tell you so.

Usually not, and that is the point — widening the arches only makes sense if the wheel and tyre package fills them. We specify the arches and the wheels together, so the offset and width are decided as one job rather than discovered afterwards.

Our kits are designed to mount to existing points wherever the vehicle allows it, so the conversion can be reversed later. Where a modification is permanent we say so before we start, because it affects resale and it is your decision to make, not ours.
